No I dont have the new floor in yet. Been busy helping my boss build his 32 Ford truck. Hopefully within the next week or so I will get back on it.

Re: '69 Highboy cab replacement
Thunderfoot,
I checked out the link you posted on the frame dimensions and then I went and remeasured the bumper and the frame.
This is the measurement on the bumper. (35" on the money)
This is the measurement on the frame. (35 1/2")
Any ideas on why things don't measure as expected?
As far as I know the bumper came off a '68 F100 4X4 and my truck is a '69 F250 4X4.

Re: '69 Highboy cab replacement
probably was modified to go inside the frame rails. I have seen this on rear bumper. could be as simple as the adapters being bolted on left on the right and right on the left.
should be the same adapter for all 4x4 trucks.
but they can be bolted on backwards.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

No bolt on brackets. They are welded on. It came off my truck. It was mounted outside the frame rails.

Re: '69 Highboy cab replacement
I measured my trucks and this is what I got;
69 F100 2wd Shorty = 34 1/8
68 F250 2wd = 34 1/16
69 F250 4wd = 35 3/8
My tape may be off an 1/8 or the frame rails could have some tolerance to them... Both of the 2wd trucks I have had some front end damage in there life as well...
After closer looking of the drawings and of my truck, the F250 4wd "High Boy" frames are wider at the front 8" of the frame horns for the cross member and leaf spring mounts for the front axle. I don't have an F100 4wd to measure but the front stock bumper mounts on the frame horns just like the 2wd trucks do so should be the same.
I agree you will have to move those mounts out to fit the High Boy frame. Looking at the mounts on that bumper you have I bet that they would probably squeeze in on a 34 1/4 frame.
Here is a pic of my ugly front bumper that is on my High Boy, I plan on building a new one for it but it's down the priority list a ways.

Re: '69 Highboy cab replacement
Thunderfoot,
Thank you so much for taking the time to measure the frame rails!
I guess I was dropped on my head 1 to many times as a kid as I should have posted the pictures of the front bumper so everyone could see what I was working with.
Been working and making good progress on the project so far.
Finished up a new blade style fuse block replacement. I wrote up the following with pictures of how I did it. http://www.crazyschedule.com/Wiring_fuse_block.pdf
Please let me know what you think of the information as I am hoping to get it over to Keith to add as a how to or addition to the bump wiki.
Thanks!
