i say it was oil. but i cant prove it. it could have been water. but if it wasnt loosing either fluid and not showing anything but white smoke out of the breather. it was probably oil. is could have been water. have the head magnifluxed to check for cracks.

Well it seemed to run good but there was a little vibration. The transmission never would go into 2nd and 1st is such a low "granny" gear. It was fun to drive. I'm glad it seems not to be anything serious. Anyway have fun with the project.

yikes, after removing the dash pad i decided to take out the seat as well. man after i removed the rotted floor mat, dimes, pennies, paper, toy soldiers, chip bag, dirt, screws, bolts, washers, wire and what ever else some of the stuff was on the floor, this is what i discovered.

Now aren't you glad you didn't end up spending all that coin at my place.

Glad to see you are really getting into the project.

i bet the oil was coming out from under the valve cover and landing on the exhaust and making smoke that came up through the floor like dolnick said it was coming from.

plans have changed for the 67. since the sheetmetal such as doors, bed and fenders are better than the 71, it will now be giving those parts to the 71 since the 71 has a good cab. i guess you can call it the 671.
