My 71 F250 4X4 was built in Kansas City. Was delivered to the Salt Lake City region. I bought it in Montana around 1989 or so. Drove it to California when I moved there, then drove it to New Mexico where I currently live. After I get her put back together, I think I'll let her go visit a few other states.

Mine was built in Kansas City also. Was then dropped in Oklahoma City. It some how made its way to what i think was "Cottonball Ford" in Hollis, Oklahoma where my grandad bought it. (I think thats what i remember being painted on the rear bumper anyway. White bumper with red letters all the way across it kinda stood out on a green pickup.)

My '71250CS (2WD) was built in San Jose, it's first owner lived in Torrance (about a mile from where I live) and used it to pull some sort of racecar around. The second owner, my grandfather, bought it in early '72 and it lived at his place in Redondo Beach from then until I had the room to bring it to my place about a year ago (prior to that I'd just run over and grab it whenever I needed to use it).

So my truck has never lived more than four miles away from me ;)

My neighbor who lived beside me bought it new in 68. Every time I saw it I wished it was mine but I new I couldn't afford one new. In 71 he got tired of not having power steering and brakes so he was going to trade it in on a 71 Ranger, same color( black,390,c6) with power steering and brakes. The 68 Ranger only had 9100 miles on it and the dealer wouldn't give him what he thought it was worth. He knew I really liked the truck so he said that he would sell it to me for $1500 and I could make payments to him and he bought the 71 outright. One of the best deals I ever made. :D

My 67 F-100 was built in Canada, was originally sold at a dealer in Pennsylvania, and I bought it in 1997 from a guy in Dubois, Wyoming.

This is almost the same story I have about aquiring my 72 f100. All those hundreds of lawns helped me get my truck too.

My 72 F-100 Custom LWB was built in Kansas City and was sold new at Gene Jones Ford in Lampasas, Texas on May 24, 1972. It spent the next 11 years puttin' around Fort Hood and Kileen, TX. The original owner was a long-time Army man(I think he was a colonel if I remeber correctly). He used it as a daily driver and a huntin' truck on his buddies' ranches. He then passed away in '83 and the truck was moved to Georgia and became his son's property. His son(the guy I bought it from) was a college professor and didn't do much with the truck except use it for fishing trips and landfill hauls. During the time he owned it, he only put less than 10,000 miles on it over a 26 year span. I bought it in April 2009 and have since restored the truck to decent running & aesthic condition(still more work to be done as always). I recently hit 100,000 original miles on the truck and its 38 years old.

My '68 was built in San Jose,& sold new at the local dealer.
The original owner lived about 5 blocks away from me.
A fire captain bought it from the original owner,& kept it
in a barn about an hour inland. It was then sold to the guy that I
bought it from.I didn't think that he'd ever sell it,but he ended up
going through a divorce.
When I first looked at the truck,I told him "Man,you did a -
great restoration job!".He shook his head & replied "No - it's all-
original".

My 71 was bought new in California by my father in law. He drove it to Georgia after retiring from the Air Force and gave it to me some 30 years later on the condition it would never leave the family, which it won't.
