maybe someone can confirm .. I have saved the following as a note for my '67fastEdsel wrote:Nice Merc but the wrong engine color for '67. They were gold color. The blue didn't come out till '68 when the 352 became the 360.
"Beginning in 1966, all Ford I-6 & V8 engines were painted Ford Corporate Blue, including the valve covers.
1967 was the first year the (Ford) valve covers were marked Powered by Ford.
1967/68 Mercury 390/410/428 valve covers are marked Powered by Mercury."
