Yes indeed 70_F100! If I remember right ford had a 391 all the racers want in the F600/700s. I'm also looking at Ford L8000 and Internationals. Do I need a CDL if I go into that level?

Check the laws on CDL's, it get confusing. Personally I would not try to run an older truck down there, I doubt it would survive the daily carnage. The trailer is a decent idea so you wouldn't have to feed it or take it with you every day.

Thanks Jamie. I hear ya. I actually contacted the last link a couple of days ago. He said $3k was the lowest he'd go.

That's a lot of truck and probably worth it if you can afford to feed it and keep it tagged. Can't run historics on it and put a load in the back. I could run farm tags here but I don't know if you could get away with it down there, going to say no. I'd be more concerned about getting a roadside DOT inspection than anything else.

That's why I think you would be better off with the trailer...
