Yeah, they are alot of hard work! However, Aaron's been able to use some stuff off of like Chevy trailblazers and things of that nature for under the hood stuff. For example I know the alternator isn't original. They have three websites i know about that I can post on here for you if you'd like. They have parts and things of that nature. Another reason is the last Scout was made in like 1980 and now most people that have an international use it as a hunting truck or mud toy just because of the difficulty of finding parts and when they sell it, its usually broke down horribly or ate up in rust! But all in all, personally, itd be worth the work because I think the scouts are so awesome :D

terry1167 wrote:Sweet trucks. The F250 camper specials are my favorite and it looks like you have a good one to build from. The Scout is awesome. I love the big International Travelalls from the 70's. I think they were the only competition to the Suburbans back then. I think it's awesome to see a lady that likes working on these old pickups. I wish my wife had some interest.

Good luck on all of your projects and keep the pics coming as you go along! :fr:
Thank you :) And I love basically everything International made! :D But what i really really want is a 61 Travelette! They are so awesome! And thank you very much, I'm literally the only girl at school who knows anything about a vehicle and most of the guys my boyfriend is friends with are so jealous of Aaron when he tells them how much i like working on trucks and how half of our dates are working on my truck or his scout. And for every holiday since we've been together I've got things I needed for my truck. haha :woohoo:

Thank you! I want a Travelette so bad, they are just so cool. Theres one I saw online thats red and they blacked all the accessories and added a brush guard, KC lights, and all kind of other cool stuff. Thats what I want to do when I get me a travelette :) Aarons had a 52 L120 pickup, 75 Dseries pickup, and now hes driving a 74 Scout II. I've loved all of them and I can't wait to finish my Ford so I can start on an IH :) lol
