Yeah, she gave me one of those "you're going to do what!?" speeches. I had to pull mine out and polish them off at that point. It wasn't pleasant, and it was real cold and quiet around my house for a few days, but I did and she got over it. As long as she can still park her car in the garage, and I clean up behind myself, it's tolerated

So as I'm pulling stuff off, I'm taking it out of the garage, around the house, in the "basement" and scattering it around the "man cave". She never goes down there, unless there's a bad storm like last week, and that's my little corner of the world. I can get everything down there but the cab, the frame and the bed. Right now the bed's around back, under the 10' high back deck. Still gotta get the engine/tranny out of the corner of the garage then I can pull the cab and tuck it back there. Get the running gear out from under it and down in the "basement", then put the frame on the dolly. Pull all the brackets and brake lines, etc and once I'm there, I can wheel the frame out in the driveway, pressure wash it and start prepping for POR-15 and paint. Start cleaning parts and painting them down in the basement. Then I can start bringing them back up for reassembly. Slowly but surely, a little at a time. And still keep the garage usable to stay out of hot water

It's going to take a long "time" but it keeps me occupied and I, and she, don't see mess every day when we get home from work.
