I have an extra set of 67 F250 emblems if you want to run them instead since you have a 250. Let me know and we can work something out. :D

I got the emblems painted and couldn't wait to take the tape off and see how they came out. Even better than I had hoped for!! The hours spent taping those things up really paid off. There are some smudges on the chrome from where there is tape glue and I will clean them really well in a few days when the paint is 100% cured. But I wanted to take an after picture anyway, so ignore the few glue smudges in the chrome.

The top one is the NOS emblem and the bottom two are the ones that I cleaned and painted tonight. You can see the NOS paint is just a touch lighter, but that is more because it is a flat paint and the two I painted have a bit more gloss in them. Otherwise the color is very close! :D :D

So I had some free time and decided to restore Caleb's hood emblems today as well. He saw mine yesterday and asked me if I could hook him up. Sure! :D

Sure Randy! If you want to buy their ticket here and back, I have no problem hooking you up. Maybe a small donation to my beer and tape fund? Lol

Mike, I used a rattle can of Duplicolor Acrylic Enamel and the color is Cherry Red. Picked it up at O'Reillys Auto Parts.

Not really an update on either of our trucks, but I am hooking Mike (CrypticRacer13) up with the 67 F250 emblems I mentioned in a previous post. I went ahead and painted them on Sunday as well, so here is the before and after on them:

Back on track with my truck, I got the EZ Wiring kit for it yesterday. I haven't been able to do anything on my truck yet as the shop is going to tow the truck back over and repaint the interior where there are problems before I start reassembling. So I am waiting on that to happen before I actually do anything in the truck. I have been chomping at the bit so much lately that I am just wandering around my garage looking for little projects that need to be done. I think I might re-do my entire steering column next. Think it needs a nice coat of gloss black. :D

Nice work dude, makes me want to do mine.

I remember you mentioning that you were going to install a deluxe winshield rubber on your truck but if it didn't work out with the trim you were going to go with a standard rubber seal. I have a standard seal that I just got from LMC so if your deluxe doesn't work out, ring me up and I'll bring this one over so you won't have to wait on shipping to get it done.

Also don't want to bug, but I still owe you $20. I can mail you a check or paypal and I'll cover the fee.

Thanks for the window rubber offer. I will let you know, but I am going to try my hardest to get that trim in there as it is in great condition. But if it is a no go, then I will take you up on the standard rubber. Heck, I would even give you the deluxe rubber and trim as well since at that point I wouldn't be running it. But I am sure we will get it in there.

As for the $20 you claim you owe me, I don't even remember what that is for. I will take your word for it I guess but I am in no rush for it. Next time we hook up, we can just handle it then or if it is bugging you that much (I know how that is... BobbyFord wont take the money I owe him!) then we can do PayPal or whatever. If you send it as a gift, there is no fee (finally figured that out! :D )

No updates lately because I sent the truck back to the shop to repaint the interior. They painted the inside like they would a newer car where most of the interior is covered and not exposed. There were just too many problems with the interior paint so they took it back on their dime and are redoing the entire inside. The exterior was awesome and pretty much did not need any work, but figured I would get the interior done before I started putting it back together.

Hopefully it wont be too much longer and then I can finally start getting some work done on the beast!
