Yes time doe go by fast. too many project and not enough time! I got 33 vehicle projects right now. I need to let some go.cep62 wrote:They certainly do "float" down the road.
I found a sway bar off of a more deluxe model and it does help,
but it doesn't handle like a modern car.
I used to drive it a lot,I even went from Michigan to Houston once.
But I parked it for the winter once and life got busy , and each summer goes by too fast.
Maybe next year.

First, I will say this is probably my favorite thread of the whole site for the simple reason that, I love seeing these old rigs doing what they were made for. Thus shame on me for not contributing more often.
This was about 5 months back, pulling a JD MC back from a welder who rebuilt the blade arms and converted it from a 4 way to a 6 way dozer.
Dozer weighs about 5K and the trailer is about 2.5K. Went up and down some real hills but did fine and no real issues, just not going to break a land speed record.
