Well the wiring is all cleaned up now. I pulled 6 trailer plugs off! It looked like every time one whent bad he would splice in another one.

I still have to add the DSII wiring, Headlight relay, and sterio. But it is coming along.

Front suspention is all set to be installed. New everything, just couldn't see doing all this work and having a few worn out parts ruin the ride.

Just working on the 9" outer axle bearings now. Then I will clean it up and move the shock mounts and prep for the spring pertch relocation.

Thursday night is stake out night. I am going to stalk the guy that has the title and see if I can get it.

Wish me luck!
Dan

Well I talked to the guy tonight. He never had the title in his name but he can get me a Power Of Atturny from his brother inlaw (the real owner) so that I can get the Title in my name.

So not title but, it seams to be a good leed.

I think that the Title will bw worked out so I am going to go on the project as if I had one.

More to come...

Well I made it out to the yard today and found me a replacment seat! I think it was out of a 90 F-150?

It has the little switches that move the lumbar support. I got it for $60. It was cold so the guy didn't want to look at it just said to "Take it, I am in a good mood" :thup:

<BENTCH>

There was also a Bump there that was a Ranger. The body an trim where shot and the inside was a little beatup as well. I did get the Cargo light an the knobs that where still in good shape. I am going to try to make it back again some time this week (before the MNG in KC) to get what is left to save.

<OTHER STUFF>

All that was $20

I also saw a Saginaw PS unit with a good auto column if anyone is intrested. He said $75 for the box. I am also going to try and get some sholder belts of one of the 90's he had there as well. There was also a slick there 65 CC but everything was in ruff shape.

All in All a good trip.

more to come...
Dan

Looks like you found a good deal on that seat!
I can't decide wether to go with a late model bench or with buckets. :hmm:

The relays are from a 90 something Grand AM. They have some cool mounting brackets too.

I had to go bentch because I might have to take both girls, so that would be 2 car seats.

Well I just got done talking to the Ex-Brother-In-Law of the guy whos name is on the Title in WA. He got a hold of the guys and said that he is going to try and get me the Releace of Intrest form signed some time next week!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the last peice of the puzzle! Once I have that then I will be able to do whatever want to it and still be la-jit!

As far as working on it...

I pulled the seat, Floor Mat, Dashpad, Gage Cluster, and all the Switches and Knobs. I plan to prep everything and paint the inside Black. Some day I will get carpet but a bare floor will work for now.

Did you know that the covers for the defrost vents can be cut out of the dash pad and screwed right back into the dash? Looks pretty good. :)

Well I have the Power Of Atorny for KS and the one from WA is on the way! I hope I can get this all worked out soon!!

Well I got some work done on the cab.

I cut out the canser and removed the realy flaky rust.

<picture> <picture>

I was wondering what you guys would do with the holes in the floor. they are not that big so I was just going to tack weld untill they are full.

I also removed the dash pad cuz it looked so bad.

<picture>

I am thinking about painting the Interior White and use a little crome and black to set it off.

For those, I'd suggest getting a tube of POR-Putty. It's just a very thick POR-15 in a squeeze-tube and works great for pinholes like that, especially since you don't have to worry about the surface appearance.

Well I got a letter from The State of Washington that said they have nothing on file for that truck, so I hope that KS will get back with me soon.

I got the DS floor patched and put down some rust converter. I noticed that the floor had a spot where the dust had beed removed. Looks like the wiper arms are leeking.

My wife has been nice and letting me work out there a lot. God bless that woman! :D

Been reading all the posts on paint and now I don't know what color to do??
