That bumper aint cool - pull it off of there. Truck will look good bumperless until you can get a decent blade.

update. Yes its been awhile.
Ive got a job working at a tire shop. thank god the manager of my area and over me is my bud. Or id been gone by now. A police car ran into me while i was in the shop truck. Now i owe the company 500 dollars deductible. Then ive ripped one VERY expensive tires 190. But yea. Its all good.
Ive driven some nice cars. Corvet. Ford GT. etc. 1971 dodge charger RT (POS. btw)
But the thing is ive neglected the site and my ford.
So last week i went out with my fiance and wrenched on it. Took the water pump and fuel pump off. I go tthe fuel pump sitting in my room. And the water pump im picking up saturday when i get paid. And prolly a coil at the same time. Then all i got is. freeze plugs. tires. to be able to drive it around.

Good luck on the rat mess. My F-500 had been sitting in a feild and the mice had gotten into the seat foam. When I opened the door, there was a 5 inch tall wall on mouse mess and foam covering the entire floor. The windows had always been up on this ttruck. The smell was horrible beyond compare. I put the shop vac lid on top of a 50 gallon trash can and went at it. I think the cab would have to be chemically dipped to get rid of the smell.

well new water pump went on today. I havent had time to hook up the hoses yet tho. I was going to install the fuel puimp...BUT the bolts so i gotta go get me some new ones. and also my dd to a crap today aswell
my DD requred. two new terminals, a set of plugs, one new plug wire, and a solenoid. And shes back up and running good. I also put in a new air filter.
NOw only things left mechanical to make it in prefect mechanical condition is. A fuel filter, One ujoint, and a rear tranny seal and bushing (it has a slight leak) and then its good.
For old blue. A new coil. and the tire patched. And it should run. But im goin gto drive it on a trailer, and tow it to my work and have the mechanicks put in a new set of freeze plugs. and one the road i go with it. ill snap pics here pretty soon.

update update.
Today i hauled it to a friends house.
My friend took his 93 f150 out there and a trailer, barely fit it on the trailer. Lets put it this way he has a 5.0 bored over .60 witha lunati cam. ANd he was having troubles. It blew out his rear shocks aswell. But we got it there.
At the end of th emonth im yanking the motor and rebuilding it, New gaskets, Polished crank. Hardened valve seats, Bored .30 (maybe) new valves etc. im putting some bucket seats in it. Fuel cell in the frame. Etc.

My 67 bairly fit on the car trailer we used to haul it to my house too.
When I pulled the 352 out of the 67 I found that it was easier to go around the Rad support rather than Over it.
have fun doing the engine. I love rebuilding them, all that presision machining...gotta love it.

re: pops old truck, 67 update. warning pics
could have sworn i replied to this.
Anyways. no not really. i gotta reinstall the water pump. Forgot to put the pulley one.....Doh!
and install fuel pump. And im going to try and start it up.
But my DD's tranny went out. So if anybodys got an AOD in my general area let me know. and the header panel, filler paneel. Left and right headlights. FOr a 96 f150 would be nice as well!!!
I was working 60 hours a week and only making 160 after they ravaged my check... I dont have any garnishments at all. Was making 484 before they took anything out....But thats a story in it self. I quit yesterday couldnt handle the ass raping...

I got hit by a cop car, look a couple post above. They payed the county. Never told ther insurance company as you had to be 18 to run service calls, Im 17, so i was paying the company back fo there mistake. Up until last check it was only 30 bucks a check. Well. It was 190.00 this last check. On top of that there F******** check bounced....they told me "well i guess youll haft to wait til next week".

I had a boss that didn't know how to do mechanic work, or tires. and hes the main man. So since it was only me and him. And i was doing all the work. I figured he could handle it fine. I hear later that 10 mins after i quit he racked up a damage ticket of 700 dollars. TWo very expensive wheels scratched. and the beads ripped. ON some 22s

Check your labor laws, know your rights. Here in Ca if you quit they have 2 working days to pay you, by law. If your company didn't have the proper insurance then that's their fault, they can't make you pay for that. So be sure to not only collect your final pay, but get reimbursed for whatever you paid into the accident. Tell them if you don't you'll go to the labor board. Follow up on that if they refuse.
