My truck was built in Canada and shipped to TN. Then I bought it from the original owner.

Re: Where did your bump come from
The 68 came from Shafter Ford in Shafter Ca. My greatgrand Father and my 9 year old dad went to pick it up in September of 68. I have had the truck since 94. Replaced the motor in 97 and have been driving it ever since.
My 71 I bought a couple of months ago. Acualy it was my birthday present from my wife. I am the third owner of this one. The po I got it from had it for 20 somethings years.

I thought the marti only told you what ford did, and my reports from ford don't say what dealership sold it.

Re: Where did your bump come from
my bump was built in canada. i have learned a little history from the man i bought it from. the origanal owners lived in coshocton, ohio it was bought buy a man who ownes a local rod shop here in zanesville. he bought it knowing that his body man kenny would buy it, and he did. kenny drove it he said about a year, pulled the stock 302 for another project, installed a mustang II front suspension. the truck was shipped to lancaster ohio to have the rear frame rails made. the new rails was made from 1/8" plate and hand cad from 4pc per side and welded up and a 9" from a early bronco was installed so the truck could be slightly tubed. somewhere along the way it got put on the back burner and it sat in one spot in a field since the late 80's. i got the truck in early 07 and made a new friend with kenny and own the most fun truck i have ever had!

Re: Where did your bump come from
My '70 F350 was built on Friday, the 13th of February, 1970 in Mahwah, NJ. It was bought at (I think) Pleasentville Ford in Pleasentville, NY by Gallagher Roofing of 66 Crugers Station Rd, Crugers, NY. In 2003 it was sold to Giordano Builders of 64 Crugers Station Rd. In 2006 I bought it and it is now at 3 Crugers Station Rd.
66 Crugers Station Rd. is about 1/2 mile from me, Pleasentville, NY is about 12 miles from me and Mahwah, NJ is just over 30 miles from me.
The original owner is deceased now, but I do know his son and wife. Unfortunately, they do not have any original documentation on the truck.

Re: Where did your bump come from
My 69 F-250 was built in Ontario Canada, purchased and ordered by my Father in April of 69, and delivered in June to Columbus Ohio. My Mother gave me the truck upon his passing in 1976 with 12,000 miles and I still own it today, restored, with 28,000 miles and has been living in Florida with me for the past 34 years.
So it's been in my family for over 40 years!

Re: Where did your bump come from
My 72 was built in Canada and sold thru a now defunct dealer in Heidelburg, PA which is south of Pittsburgh to the original owner. I bought it from him June 6th of '07. My 67 was built in Kansas City and sold thru a dealer in Denver. At some point it was resold to an owner in South Carolina. In March of '05 it was retitled in PA. I bought it from a used car dealer in December of '06.

Re: Where did your bump come from
My '67 was build in San Jose, CA, and was sent to the state of Washington for sale. It was purchased by the Columbia Sportwear Company, who later sold it to someone else, who later sold it to someone else, who later sold it to me. It's in pretty decent condition for a 4-owner truck, but I'm afraid I may eventually have to replace the cab.

Re: Where did your bump come from
My ´71 F100 was built in Norfolk, Virgina. The order came from Jacksonville Florida. I really want to find out more about the truck´s history.
All I know is that it has been to Washington State once (because of a bumper sticker of a diner, but the owner of the diner doesn´t know the truck) and had it´s last American owner in San Francisco, California. Then a German guy exported it and now I´ve got it over hear in Dachau near Munich, Germany

Re: Where did your bump come from
My truck was built in norfolk,va and was bought by a farmer in smithfield, va. A friend bought the truck in 2003 and didnt do much with it because it used to much gas and sold it to another friend of mine and he drove it a little but was not happy with the gas milage and i asked him for 2 years to sell it to me and one day his land lord said if your not going to use it get rid of it and i bought it in 2006. The reason the highboy was getting bad mileage is because of one burnt exhaust valve and the exhaust seat almost beat out of the head.http://s1040.photobucket.com/albums/b40 ... C00087.jpg

My 72 was built in Kansas City MO, I found it in the state of Durango Mexico all beat up. The last place it was registered in the USA was Garland TX (suburb of Dallas), I bought it, fixed it up somewhat and now it resides in Ontario Canada.
Oops. I forgot that I had posted arleady. Sorry

Re: Where did your bump come from
My truck was built on Thursday, September 11, 1969. (Yes, it's a 9/11 truck.) It was built in the Kansas City plant. It spent most of its life in Arizona. I bought it from the owners son while he worked at a glass shop in Lincoln. I paid $900 for it.
Interesting thing on that date: An annular solar eclipse occurred on September 11, 1969.
Maybe it was an omen.
The truck has very little rust on it, other than surface rust. And I plan to keep it that way. So it does not get driven in the winter time.
