Re: Favorite hot rodding songs?
Yes yes yes yes yes!!! I've been trying to figure out what that song was called, I never knew its name though. Recently I started thinking about it, and out of all the songs listed I searched this one. It was meant to be, I love that song. Its perfect for hot rod shows and cruising. Thank youIn FORD we trust wrote:Green Onions! American Grafitti really made that song for me. I think its a totally cool driving song. I also really like Bob Seagers Roll Me Away. Tim

Seagar? How can you mention Seagar without mentioning "Born to Run"!
That's a crime in 19 states.

Damn, and I knew that too. Confusing Seagar with Springsteen is a capital offense in NJ.

It's Seger, not Seagar/Seager.
Bob Seger = Detroit.
Bruce Springsteen - Asbury Park, New Jersey
Same initials, tho.

When in doubt, hit the gas. It may not be the right answer, but at least it ends the suspense!!

Re: Favorite hot rodding songs?
Judas Priest, Hell Bent for Leather.
Rev horton Heat trivia. He only mentions a Chevrolet pickup truck in one song (that I know of) it's one more reason to like the guy considering the song has a....hmmm...."brokeback mountain" twist to it.
As for the Seger/Springsteen thing...I'm from Virginia. We tend to lump everything north of the Mason Dixon line together anyway. I can't think of a rock band from Va. I dated a chick in the 90's who's best friend married somebody in the Dave Matthews band though. She told me she could get me free back stage passes. Zzzzzzzzzz.
