Id just fix it if it were me. Or a EFI 302. Or just get a used econobox. Friend of mine has gotten three different full sized cars now each around $1500 and in decent condition.

What about using a Ford Crown Vic Police intercepter motor, maybe not the best milage but she will get up and go.

Well, I'm not particularly fond of my little girl breathing gas fumes on a regular basis. So, if I am to continue using the 71 as a daily driver, the tank will be moved.
Thats odd, my truck has no fumes in the cab. If it did I probably wouldnt smoke in there.

Seriously man, if you are thinking about putting a chevy motor into your ford truck just so you can have a daily driver, you're not thinking to clearly.

then again, maybe we're all a bunch of fish on hooks. :hmm:
