Ouch, that is a good one. What I hate are those darn hot exhaust manifold.

First when I first got my truck and was trying to sound proof the interior I had the seats on and sat down a little to close to the seat bracket bolt on the slides and riped a big chuck out of my leg. I still have the scar.
Second. Happened when I was doing power brake booster I had my foot on the bumper and had stradled the radiator support. Well like murphys law strikes my foot slips I rack myself on the radiator support and then smack my head on the hood latch. Followed by falling out of the truck onto the cement.
Last. When I converted my truck to 4x4 I had to torch out a bolt on the rear leaf spring so I could replace the bushings. Well I left my socket on the other end of that bolt and not thinking I grabbed the almost red hot socket. I had snapon burned across three of my fingers for weeks.
Those are the worst I can't think of. I've injured myself worse now since I turn wrenches for a living .
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can. http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u223/imabaka70/ Projects listed on the left side
WOOOT!! i passed my mechanics classes. Now working as a mechanic and waiting to go for my ASE certifications.
i don't think he has posted this. but dad while pulling my steering wheel off grabbed it with his fore arms and was pulling (didn't leave the bolt threaded on a little bit) and POW hit him right in the mouth and busted open his lip...

Let's see if can do this justice....Try to get a visual....
Was working in the engine compartment, right foot on the driver's motor mount, left foot on the ground in front of the lower radiator hose. Tried to get out. Put my right foot on the frame rail and pushed up to put my butt on that flat spot between the radiator support and the top of the grill. Leaned back, lifted and swung my left foot up and over and set in on the bumper. Slid back toward the headlight a little and leaned back and swung my right foot up and over........
Left foot slipped off the bumper...back left pocket of my pants got hung up on the headlight bezel....right foot slipped off the top of the grill and both legs swung down, pocket still hung where the headlight bezel meets the grille. I pivoted like a pendulum on that pocket (my butt), feet not touching the ground, until I rotated about 120*.The pocket ripped and took the seat out of my pants and I came crashing to the concrete floor on my right hip bone and right shoulder blade with a solid thud. Man that hurt! Knocked the breath out of me but no serious damage other than my pride and a pair of pants. One of my proudest moments!

New injury. I was trying to roll the old flat bed forward in the shop. It was not running so I grabbed the tire and tried to roll it by hand. I got it rolling and all was well, until it stopped rolling, causing my hand to slip off the tire, thereby causing me to slip and fall, bridge of the nose directly on the edge of the steel flatbed. Apparently I fell down and back (luckily away from the truck), and when I came to the truck was about ten feet away from the shop door in the yard, and I had blood all down my face and shirt. I did not break my nose, just cut a nice big gash in it. I guess my bump was getting me back for leaving it outside for a week or so to work on the buick...

"It can't be that hard."
Yep, your truck stuck #1 plug wire up in the air and yelled, "Ford You".

New injury this weekend: Cut back of hand reaching into the abyss behind the glove box. Don't know what bit me but I have the mark to prove it happened.
