ROFL...Yeah the fav recliner makes a good bed when you have an injured wing, as long as you stay out of it during the day. My other half woke me up a coupla times before I learned that lesson...she'd toss around in the bed and bump or press on my left arm, nothin' like suddenly waking up in extreme pain...but it was unintentional. Did my first RC surgery in January and the wife won't let me fire up a butt in the house so I had to go outside to smoke. Even so, she would take my fire away from me so I wouldn't slip and start smokin' in my chair. Toughest part of that was learnin' how to put on socks with one hand...always wound up rollin over on my head like Curley Joe till I got the hang of it...the neighbors probably thought I was nuts, outside in the cold trying to light a smoke with fireplace matches cause that was the only fire I could find. Came pretty close to quittin' back then...probably should have. Couldn't drive of course, so I spent a lot of time running a remote controlled 4X4 Bump truck around the house when I wasn't doing rehab exercises...to this day, my lab growls at that little truck...he didn't like being treated like an offroad obstacle when he was sleeping.woods wrote:Funny you should say that, because that is what I went to in the middle of the night. I used to do that when I was sick. Worked pretty good. It would be the end to a perfect week if I arrange to fall asleep in my chair with a smoke hanging out of my mouth and set my favorite chair on fire.
