Dave I hope you find a way out of your present situation soon. I have been out of work since my heart attack over a year ago. A couple things I will say for folks is your situation is a perfect example of why you do not want to get involved with a HOA & why keeping it driving as much as possible throughout the process really helps. I have been doing ours a bit at a time but always trying to keep it driving. That approach would have greatly altered your present situation concerning the truck. What would it take to just put the beast back together again as a complete truck? Would it drive? That would end storage along with make it a usable vehicle. As your situation grows better maybe take an approach closer to mine to working on it.

Needs alot work before I can drive it. Rusted out floor pans, no running engine, no automatic C6 driveshaft, radiator, and mayb a radiator support.

Well at $150/month (storage) you can have a radiator & possibly a driveshaft (junkyard). If you have a radiator support scab it together enough to do it's job. This is temporary not anything permanent. Floor pans are just finding sheet metal & screw it in place for now. Nothing pretty just functional. Only thing left is making it run. Usually not a big deal on older engines. Just a thought. At the same time parting it out may bring you enough money to help you get by for a bit & there is always another day & another truck.

I dont have any junkyards around here that would have a automatic trany driveshaft for a 8ft bed. I got one for the column shift setup. I might just keep it and keep pushing my want list that I have listed on here.
