My top three changes from week to week
this week....
1. it is a highboy
2. NO power steering (crazy, right?) :lol:
3. 1970 truck smell

1. It's an extension of who I am. (An ongoing project to become better)
2. The fact it's a 67 and therefore unique among our awesome body style
3. And last but not least the thumbs up I get everytime I take it out

1. It was the only new car my grandfather ever bought.
2. He bought it to have a reliable vehicle to drive to visit his first grandchild (me.)
3. I always get comments on it whenever I drive it around.

1. Grandpa bought it new in 1969, sold it to my grandpa. After they both passed the truck was sold to my other grandpa, who gave the truck to me (in exchange for a custom tube bumper.)
2. Bumps look awesome and I get a lot of complements, thumbs ups, and looks as i cruise it around.
3. Truck is super simple and easy to work on.
Dislikes
1. Hood latch
2. Lwb and 2wd (will be converted to 4x4 soon)
3. Uhm mm.... Don't have anything else I don't like about them.

2. Useful-flatbed/dump
3. You can drive with the window down and not get all the crazy wind like you do in a modern truck.

+1 :thup: I will add that it was passed down to me from my wife's Uncle, who was the original owner, so it has been in the family since new.
+2 Very few people know how to drive it, and those that do know to respect it as well.
+3 It's like me, It doesn't look so good any more, but it has a big heart... :wink:
