I started my truck after the whole radiator fiasco and my electrical now needs to be redone sine it blew up a red top optima. Then I started measuring for the brackets for my power seats and console and my gas tank started pouring out gas from the bottom, so I pulled it out and found mice living back there. Today sucked!! :cuss:

I started it up after sitting for nearly a year and drove it 70 mile to my Mom's house where it will stay for a while. Once I get all the junk off the flat bed then I'll start cutting firewood and hauling it home.

Finished installing my new shift tube. Replaced the cancel cam on the switch and as I was getting ready to install the original steering wheel the UPS guy pulled up with my new wheel from Mac's. Beautiful wheel. Black. I painted my column Rangoon Red to match the rest of the factory dash color. It was originally maroon and dull. Shifts are very precise now. I love my bump!!

I was doing a lot of work on a '67 Mustang (for hire) and after a lengthy time, I FINALLY got through with it and the owner took it home on Tuesday of this week.

I spent all day today cleaning out my shop, re-organizing and making room to get my truck in there. I've had my '69 F100 short bed for just over 3 years now and this is the very first time, since I've owned it, that it's been inside my shop.

--the bare shell of the Mustang on the rotisserie in the fore ground is my '68 Mustang. I bought the '68 when I was 15. It was my high school car and I've had it for 32 years now.

Now that I finally got the '69 Ranger in my shop, it's time to remove the front drums/I-beams and replace them with disc brakes/I-beams from a '77 F-100 and add a power steering gearbox from a '78.

I wire brushed off all the grease and gasket materials from the heads, wiped them down, and painted them. Then I cleaned up the rocker arm assembly on one side, wiped off all the solvent, and placed some pre-assembly lube on them. May try to sneak out and accomplish some more engine detailing!

i blew something up on my old ford truck. i think my block just cracked. trying to figure it out. i changed battery and cable ends on my subaru brat and pulled the motor so i can pull off the oil pan and weld in a new drain plug and might as well install a new oil pump while i'm in there. the front end of the compressor broke off on the 460 engine in my 91 f250. I uninstalled it an am tracking down a new compressor. i love it when a problem with the a/c is obvious because i suck at trouble shooting a/c. i pulled out the wrong sensor on the intake manifold of the 460. i was aiming for the electronic version of the portovacuum switch. i accidently pulled the water temp sensor. i knew as soon as i did because i lost a bit of coolant. doh!! i wish i knew what the electronic version of this thing is called.
