1970 F250 4X4 Rebuild / Updating

Received the seam sealer and continuing to clean the floor while the cab is laying on its back. I have decided that the doors will be replaced with the others I have. Works out well as they are already drilled for West Coast Mirrors.

Thanks, I will look at the seam sealer tonight and see if i need to apply anymore. I am just happy to have something done.

So the seam sealer worked great. Now I have to do more cleaning.

Looking good. I'll be getting to do this probably in the next few weeks so I'm watching and taking notes.

So now I am waiting for the paint to dry.

Now that the paint is dry, it's even better than I thought it would be! This KBS paint is quite impressive. I painted it on with a brush and now that it dried it flatter than I would have imagined.

So starting Monday I am working from home most days. This will cut my commute to zero and make it easier to get out in the garage!

Today, I was able to get out and clean some stuff up. I also need to flip the cab back down so I can get working on the doors. After looking at them, it appears that the passenger door is junk. The drivers door looks ok so that might save a bunch of time. Hopefully more frequent posts coming!

The cab has been laid back down finally.

Back to work, started on the driver's side fire wall. Cleaned and etching primed the bare spots. Seam sealed joints and prepaired an area for a patch. But it is progress. The patch is just a small one so I think I will be able to get that tomorrow. I also need to bring in the other passenger door to see which one is better.

Well I hope the group is doing well and getting all your home projects done. Hang in there and hopefully some form on normalcy will return soon.
