I think you and the others are right about it being a Nissan 350Z. Here's a pic of one:

It's got the same radius on the bottom of the door as his car, and one similar to the years of the Miatas that led me to think it was a Miata, as well as the same door handles, windshield frame and mirrors if I'm looking at it right. Gotta hand it to him he's a great body-man that's gotta be one of the cleanest looking custom cars I've seen and definitely the most unique .

YEP!! Yall got it!! Its a 2006 Nissan 350Z, I had it for about a year and a half when a lady ran a red light and took me out lol So I had this "totaled" car in my garage, and then one day I figured I might as well do something with it. So this is what came out... If you look REAL hard at one of the pics, you can still see the "Z" between the top of the two seats. But all in all Im pretty happy with the way it turned out. Excluding the car itself and the cost of mechanical repair, I spent a total of around $2400 dollars, and more than half of that was the wheels!!

Thanks guys, I like to think that if I can do it anyone can. With patience and persistance, you can do anything. I was just blessed with a creative mind is all. Trust me, where I stand strong with this, my actual mechanical knowledge is almost "newb" status! I catch a lot of crap though from the older guys I work with though. I try to show them things Ive learned and they get angry lol. This car was kind of my "proving ground" with most of them. But they still dont like taking advice from a youngster! lol
