Well folks, the plaques arrived today via UPS. They came out better than I had hoped, so I am very happy with them. Hopefully you guys will all be just as happy with them when you get yours. I will be packaging them all up this weekend will get them in Saturday's mail if I get done in time, but Monday is more likely.

In the meantime, here is how they came out. I put a ketchup packet next to it so you can see a size reference.



They are about a quarter inch thick and you can drill holes in these for mounting or hanging with no problems.

I will update the thread when I get them all shipped out. Once I go through them all and get them packaged up, then I will know exactly how many extras I have and for those that wanted them, I will collect money at that time. I have a list of 4 right now that wanted one and I should be able to have one for each of you 4. After that, I am not so sure. Another order down the road however is not out of the question if there is enough interest. I might even front some of it to get the 10 plaque minimum so that there will be some for other members.

Well, since I was excited to get the plaques today and figured at least a few of you might be excited to get yours, I decided to package them up tonight while I watched the LA Kings beat the Washington Capitals. The victory put me in a good mood, so with the help of the small priority boxes I had already picked up and my Stamps.com account, I got all of the packages done up tonight (except one who wants to buy an extra plaque) and will drop them off at the post office tomorrow. Supposedly, all of the US residents will get theirs in 2 days. So Monday hopefully!



On a side note, I found out that these things cost $20 to ship to Canada. The shipping on the US addresses is $5.25 and I charged $5 for postage in the cost of the plaques. I am not to worried about the quarter I am eating on each plaque, but the extra $15 to Canada will add up fast in the future. I am eating it this time because it was my oversight, but unfortunately I will have to charge $55 in the future for any plaques getting mailed to Canada.

All that being said, my only requirement from everyone since I paid part of your shipping, is that EVERYONE MUST POST PICTURES OF THEIR PLAQUES IN USE in this thread!! I want to see them on trucks, on walls, on the toilet seat, on whatever you bought this plaque for!! Wherever it is going to call home, take a picture of it and post it here so we can all see! I am really looking forward to seeing the ones from those of you who said they were going to customize them by painting them to match your truck. I know a couple were ordered without paint and those ones will be completely custom. So looking forward to seeing those too!

The plaques went out this morning and are shipping with the first pickup from the post office at 11:30am... So I would think the US plaques should be there by Monday at the latest and some of you might actually get them tomorrow.

To all the "thanks" being thrown my way... You guys are welcome. But I feel bad saying that because the reason I did all of this was a selfish one... I wanted one and ordering a batch was the only way to get that done! But really, I am glad that you guys all like them and are happy with how they look.

I had fronted the cash for an extra 4 plaques and they are already all spoken for with more people still wanting some. So what I will probably do in the near future is just front the money for another 10 plaques (when I can afford it) and then sell them as people want them. Unless there is a big rush for another order and I get the numbers for an order of at least 10, it will have to wait till I can front it. Right now, I have interest for 2 more plaques.

If you are wanting one, PM me and let me know and if there are enough, I will collect and get another order going. Otherwise, I will recontact those interested when I buy another 10 and they can be paid for at that time.

And just to keep with the theme of posting the plaques being displayed... CNM67 is rocking his in the center of his windshield. It would look a lot better if his front windshield was actually clean, but the truck has been sitting for 2 weeks while he gets the money to finish his exhaust.
