If you have the airboat thing to do I wouldn't want to interfere with those plans so the 1st weekend (Sunday, of course) in February would be fine with me at Sumter County.
Although Zephyrhills is a hu-u-uge event it is also a traffic nightmare to get into and out of. I sold a bunch of 60s Mustang parts there in the late 80s (when I lived in Plant City) and the traffic was backed up for over a mile the days of the swap meet but I thought at that time there was a car show / corral section. They may have changed their setup, or maybe I'm thinking about their Octoberfest event. I unloaded a bunch of stuff there at both events. Since the Winter Festival doesn't have a car show area it would be senseless to try to go there.

Okay everyone in Florida, and South Georgia if you want to make the trip.... ....it's almost January and the talk has been to try to get this meet together for the first Sunday in February. Will we be trying to meet again?

Len,
The first weekend in February sounds real good to me!
I'll go ahead and contact the folks there at the Sumter County Fairgrounds.
I'll also let them know we're gonna try again at the plaque for more than 10 trucks.
C'mon guys, (and gals?) let's make this one bigger and better!
Here's where we'll be at again:
http://www.floridaswapmeets.net/
They will want us all there by 9 or 10 AM if possible, (the place was "overflow" at our last meet-n-greet) with nowhere left to park by noontime!
If anybody has any questions about this place, (or for directions) please don't hesitate to pm me for info.
