That bed is cool the bed and seat cover make it just a lil second day versus full restored.

Re: Alan's 1967 Shortbed Stepside 4WD
Yep I have a bench I'm doing in red vinyl as a spare, and of course the wood can be swapped in a day for plain or painted as it was original. About the only thing I changed that would be hard to swap back was to update to a modern wiring harness, and I think folks are crazy if they go down to the frame and don't do a modern spade-fuse harness.

Re: Alan's 1967 Shortbed Stepside 4WD
So the truck is more or less finished! Still have to get my emblems back from refinishing and put them on. I decided to try doing a ceramic coating on it, i've never done that so I had a guy come do it for me. Here's my truck (some of the pics were from the detail guy and he put his product on the hood, I'm not advertising the products I don't know really all that much about them vs other ceramics). I have some NOS hubcaps, but I think I like the bare wheel look better!

Re: Alan's 1967 Shortbed Stepside 4WD
Thanks guys, very happy with the way this all came together. I've got a bit more work to do: Headliner upgrade and I might do an alternate set of bigger wheels (OE look steelies just wider) but I think I'd have to do power steering for that and I'm trying to stick close tooriginal mechanically. But in any event I appreciate the kind words!
If I decide to ceramic coat another car I'll do it myself, it was pretty straightforward, takes about 6-7 hours and like everything else it's all in the prep: after very through surface cleaning, claybar and polish to put the coating on it's just wipe on, wipe off.....

Thanks crazyhorse! If anyone is in Northern VA I'm at Cars & Coffee in Great Falls at least once or twice a month, I don't see a lot of F100s there though. Drag yours out for a cuppa joe!
