so it makes penny's really bright. would ic remove calium build up from a float bowl?

What about shower cleaner. CLR I think it is called.

Dunno about that, but I've been told it cleans up hard, semi-ridgid plastic well. I don't know the proper technical name for it, but I'm referring to the black stuff you might see as a fender liner on newer cars, the inner-rear fender on many sport bikes, wire ties/snap clips, the vent assemblies on our trucks, stuff like that.

Another thing that cleans up pennies really nicely? Taco Bell hot sauce. The acids in it shines them right up! (makes you wonder what it does to your insides when you eat it! :lol: )

I don't know for sure, but I don't really think it would work, :hmm: I know alumni bright or Zeps steam and clean works wonders, just rinse real good with water after or it will go black.

For what it's worth, a buddy of mine rebuilds a lot of bikes, primarily trail 70's. And when he gets a really corroded carb, he soaks the bowls in CLR, and it works well in getting them looking new.
