Well i got some fog lights for christmas, so i'll be mounting and wiring them tomorrow hopefully. Be interesting to see how much they improve my light at night.

Did you put them on relays or wire them direct? Most states require them to only work if the regular lights are on. The relay would save the factory wiring from excessive current draw and make the addition of more lights even easier.

Put them on a relay with large wires and put a wire from the Headlight switch to a on/off switch then to the relay coil.

That way they can only be turned on when the headlights are on as the law requires and can still not be on everytime the headlights are on like in town.

i ran them on their own curcuit with their own power and switch. thatway i can run them with the headlights on or off, that way i can have somw work lights also. they are actually classified as off-road driving lights, so they are illegal to use on the road. But the po-pos don't need to know that:-)
