Old BBQ's and your Shop

Post by Truckfarmingcanuck »

Next time you throw out and old BBQ or if you are in the business of scrapping them out for the aluminum, watch for ones with the little metal racks on the front for holding BBQ sauce bottles, tongs and whatever etc.
They are about 1 1/2 feet wide wire thingy's on the front of the BBQ

Anyhow with a little bit of massaging the wire basket can be bent in such a way that it will fasten to the peg board in your garage. It hooks on pretty good once you get the suckers in the holes and makes a great holding area for aerosol cans like penetrating oil, paint, throttle body/carb cleaner etc...

Great tip. I actually have one that fell off due to some youthful twisting of the grill, thanks to my 14 year old.

I'll hook it up.
