Wiper motor is up underneath the dash behind. Above the heater box.
since you don't want a smart-ass answer, I can't help you with whats wrong.
Like asking basic things like.....
is the fuse blown?
is there power at the switch?
If you jiggle the arms, do they start working?
cause that might offend you. So I won't ask.

In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!

A_G,
Don't confuse this site or the people on it with any other site. If you ask a legitimate question, you will get a straight answer. That's not to say some of us won't poke fun at you but that will be the price you pay for the answer you seek. Ask your questions and expect answers with a little fun mixed in. Everyone started somewhere just like you. Was this a long enough response for you (part of the fun)? Take care , John.

If the above suggestions don't work (tapping on the wiper motor body with the switch on, trying to manually rotate the motor), then the first thing I'd do is first make sure the wiper switch is hooked up (just to ensure the connection didn't come loose), and then I'd check for power with a multimeter, both at the switch and at the wiper motor's harness hook-up. Check for continuity between those two points as well.
Wiper motors hardly ever go bad, so I wouldn't immediately jump to conclusions that it's bad.

Here's a diagram that shows where the motor is and also a photo of the motor. One word of caution: If you start messing with that motor, make sure your fingers stay clear of the wiper drive arms. If the motor starts and your fingers are caught, it will chew them up.

Geting to the motor is a lot easier if you pull the instrument cluster out first.

If your wiper motor turns out to be toast after youve done your checks-(lube and grease the bushings and pivots), let me know, Ive gotten an extra one off ebay.

Did the mice chew up any wires? For some reason they like to eat wire, must taste like cheese or something.
If the wires aren't chewed, they might be dry rotted. Some food for thought...
