Hey, my truck has 3.70 gears. is that a common gear? Gas milege is a little low with that gear right? but its got some extra torque too? just curious.
thanks
The six trucks were the most RPM limited and typically had middle of the road gears. The 240 has plenty of low end grunt to start out with 3.25 or 3.50 gears.

The 71 I used to have had a 3.0, by the VIN data it looks like 71 was the only year it was available. It had a 360 and still only got 12 mpg on a good day.
My 69 302 has a 3.50.
