"New" Front Bumper On

Post by ToughOldFord »

Just put on the bumper I got at Pull N Save. Looks a heck of a lot better than the original, you can see the original's a bit tweaked. And that's after I straightened it when I bought the truck. Of course as bad as the breaks were when I bought it I guess it's something that it had bumpers left at all.

Hey TOF...

Yeah, that looks lots better... right on.

I replaced the original painted bumper on my '68 CS a few months ago with a chrome I got from a yard for $35, I couldn't believe the difference that it made.

Did you have the push bars or did they come with the new bumper?

Take care,

Thanks! 8)

The push bars came with the new bumper. I think I paid $35 also, bought other stuff at the same time, but I believe that was the price for the bumper.
It was a perfect find and perfect timing, I went to the yard for an A/C compressor for the jeep and found the bumper just sitting up by the fence and just the day prior I was looking at my old one and telling myself I really need to replace it.

Hey TOF...

That's way cool. I always like to hear that someone got a good deal. (especially one of the guys here on the forum)
Now if ya come up with a Shelby Cobra GT (not a Mustang) for $100, I don't even wanna hear about it... lol

That's my idea of the perfect commuter car... oh yeah
