So now that school is starting, I take my one and four year olds every Thursday morning. My daily driver is my 71 SWB. I had my factory bucket seats in there, but that meant I could only have one passenger. The 70 crew cab isn't ready to be a daily driver yet, so I put a nice spare bench seat in my 71 SWB and put the buckets in the crew. That was always my plan, but I just hadn't gotten around to doing it yet.
The crew cab is originally white w/ an ivy green interior. I'm going to return the interior to ivy green and make the outside two tone boxwood green/white. I'm not sure if I'm going to make it white below the belt line or not since I don't have trim on the belt line. So basically, the whole truck will be green w/ a white cap. I think it will look sharp and period correct w/ the factory buckets.
Here are the pics.

re: Just put my factory bucket seats in my 70 Crew Cab
I bought the seats w/ the brackets. They were original to a 70 F100. The seats are the same that were used in 67/68 mustangs, so they aren't rare. The rare part is the brackets. In the last couple of years, I have seen multiple sets for sale. So they come up from time to time, you just have to keep a eye out for them, on ebay and here.
I plan on covering them w/ green two tone covers to return the interior to ivy green. Here is a pic of the covers I'm going to use. This pic is from the NPD catalog that you can down load from their website. I love NPD! They will even sell you rolls of the vinyl that they used to make your seat covers. I plan to buy lots of extra so I can do the headliner and other stuff. Will be nice knowing that everything will match.

Nice, when I put my new seats in it was half tempting to not put the center folding console in cuz it was nice and roomy. Good stuff they look great in there.

I'm planning on finding a center console out of a 78/79 bronco or something like that. I think it will look sharp.
Thanks for the compliments guys. I really like it too. This thing will be cool when done.
