Sounds like a show I'd like. Exactly where is Washington Crossing State Park? I may try to go if it isn't to far.

re: Antique Power Equipment Show - Trucks, Tractors, and Mor
Washington Crossing State Park is located in Titusville, NJ on the Delaware River. It's just north of Trenton and Ewing. I pass it all the time on my way to/from Philadelphia from north Jersey. Look for it on Mapquest or Google Maps.
John (or others!), if you want to come down I would go the following way: Take 287 South to Exit 17 for Route 202 South. In Flemington 202 South and 31 South become the same road for a while, when they split at Ringoes take 31 South. Go South on 31 for about a mile or so, and make a right onto Hunterdon County Rt 579. Take 579 South a few miles, you will see the entrance for Washington Crossing State Park.
I don't know exactly where the show is being held in the park but I'm sure we could find it. On Friday I saw a billboard with arrows on 579 so I think it will be marked.
Look at the website at www.daysofthepast.com, in previous years there has been a good number of classic Ford trucks there!
I'm not sure what day I'm going, probably Saturday. Let me know if anyone is interested in meeting up.

re: Antique Power Equipment Show - Trucks, Tractors, and Mor
I went to the Sandwich (Illinois) fair last weekend, and they had a bunch of the hit and miss, or one shot engines, (I have heard them called both). I love those things, and hit the fair just for those, and the old tractors. This year they added old truck tractors, and it was cool to see them.
If I was closer, I would be at that show also.

I'd love to find an old hit and miss engine to restore. There is a guy who makes home made ice cream with a 1901 "hit and miss" John Deere at the New Jersey Fair every year.

re: UPDATED - NJ Antique Power Equipment Show
I couldn't bring my Bump on Saturday because my trans was leaking (has since been fixed) but I'm glad someone came out! Does this '69 belong to anyone on Fordification? 240-I6.

re: UPDATED BIG PICS - NJ Antique Power Equipment
WOW! Looks like I missed an awesome show. My ex-wifes grandfather had a '42 Oliver bulldozer. I did get to drive it once. I pulled his Chebby K20 out of the woods for him. After I ripped the bumper off first! The clutch was extremly stiff.

Antique Winsconsin motor driving a meat grinder.
I want this drill press!
One of the coolest demos at the show, this guy was running a double-action log splitter off of a Sandwhich engine.
Very Effective!

re: UPDATED BIG PICS - NJ Antique Power Equipment
Small engine and belt-driven water pump demonstration.
Very old internal combustion engine mounted on horse drawn wagon. The screens at the right are the radiator, water drips out of the pipe above and streams down over the screens where it is cooled. It falls into a sump at the bottom of the box.
Reverse side of same engine, great view of cooling screens.
Small New Holland engine.
Dirt area for live demonstration of tractors, graders, bulldozers, etc.

Tony,
How far from your Northern NJ home was that show? We should make a Fordification trip out there. My flatbed and John and cooltoolguy's dumps would fit in. From the pictures, it looks like not everything there was perfect.
