Starting tearing down

I came home from college a couple weeks ago, and when I got home my dad said look out side tommorow morning, I got a present for you. Well dad's present was a portable garage for the truck

so a big thanks to dad on that one. anyway last weekend we tore the front clip off to repair some rust on the fenders, and were gonna try and repair the radiator support as well as possibly do the engine and transmission.

wow that garage thing is cool. i should really get one of those for my truck. it would be great to keep rain off and for a paintbooth.

cool deal. i really need a garage. that front clip project looks like it is going alot easier than my last core support project.

Thanks all. Yes im really greatful my dad got this it makes it possible for us to get some work done on it. The garage itself is very sturdy, I believe it was purchased at tractor supply, I'm unsure of the exact dimensions but as you can see thats a lwb truck and it fits in there nicely. thanks again all for lookin.

Yep, they make great sand blast booths as well. Where are you located? The truck looks good for a Pa truck.

I'm located near Pittsburgh. Here are some more pics from 2 weekends ago. The cab is basically stripped, the engine has the heads off, the drive train is basically ready to be removed for a rebuild. hopefully over thanksgiving the engine and trans will be removed, then brought up here to school for me to rebuild

i dont have any pics of the whole garage but heres one of the truck sitting in it. nice idea on the pvc garage, how much are you going to have invested in it when completed if you dont mind me asking? I have also found if your creative with some rope or bungy chords you can install temporary lighting, paper towel holders, garbage bags etc, in the garage

Right now, I'm thinking Power brakes and maybe power steering, as well as some upgrades to the engine that will be determined
