F100 Western Nats 2008-fotos added 7/3/08
Its not until June 21st, but I just got the email for it, so I figured I'd let you guys know. Should be a fun event for the Southern California people.

Also, there is this one below from Pickups Unlimited of Orange County on Sunday, but I don't think I'll be able to make it:
Our event for March is on Sunday the 2nd. We are all going to the Long Beach High Performance Swap Meet at Veteran's Stadium - YES THIS IS AN OFFICIAL EVENT THIS MONTH BY POPULAR DEMAND.
Early start for the best parking available. Our meeting spot is the Wall Mart gas station in the Long Beach Town Center ( Carson Ave. at the 605 Freeway). From here we will leave promptly at 6:30 for a quick run to Veteran’s Stadium. We will enter the preferred parking Car Corral and go to the south end of the lot so that we can park together. If you are not driving your truck and want to join us, the gates open at 6:00am - $8.00 admission to the swap meet per person - 1972 and earlier vehicles are free in the Car Corral. How many BUMPS show up on average? Might be interested on going if it is worth while, it's along trip for me. Do the venders represent the bumps well?

To be honest I haven't been to this show before. BOTP usually goes and always posts pics on his website. You can seem them below:

From the pics there seems to be a decent turnout. Plus I guess if you're driving into down and you need parts, you could order from BOTP and arrange to pick up the parts while you're in town rather than having to pay for shipping.

Not sure if I'll be bringing the truck, but we'll see how much I get done between now and
then.

Fun show, weather... not so fun, but thankfully the show was at a campground with a lot of trees. 95% of the trucks were parked in the shade. By the time I got home (around 1:30pm) the thermometer said 109 degrees.
Met FORDification member "fisheye". His truck is extremely nice. A lot of 'original' blended with some really cool mods.
