Yep the bs thread was my idea and I would also like to say im sorry. It was just a thread for people to let it out since I was having chat troubles and such. Didn't think it would get that large and didn't think so many would take offense.

Keith, THANK YOU for stepping in and taking control again.
I couldn't agree more with your assessment, and I'm glad to hear we can keep the focus on old trucks.

Actually, your rat rod thread is just fine as far as I'm concerned. It's automotive-related at least, and is by far a LOT more topical and relevant than many of the other nonsense threads that have been (will be) deleted. I wouldn't want these types of threads to have pictures attached, but as long as the pictures are being hosted by someone else (E-bay, etc.) then I'm fine with it.Pipes71 wrote:Welcome back Keith, Sorry if my, name the rat rod thread got carried away.. never thought it might mess up the forum or actually get so many pages so let me be the first to apoligize..

The main thing I want everyone to think about BEFORE they post is this:
Will my post be contributing something positive/useful to the thread?
If so, than please post away. If not, and your reply is meant to just meant to be cute without having any actual usable content, than just don't do it!

So if I'm reading this correctly, you don't want any more "non-auto" related threads?FORDification wrote:Actually, your rat rod thread is just fine as far as I'm concerned. Kieth Ive been thinking about all youve had on your plate these past few months. Understand completely why you werent around. Losing a parent is a major thing to work through, and moving is second only to looking for a job as the least fun thing to do.
Funny thing is - now when I think of my 67 pickup, I automatically think of the price of gas. Grrr!
