Yep the bs thread was my idea and I would also like to say im sorry. It was just a thread for people to let it out since I was having chat troubles and such. Didn't think it would get that large and didn't think so many would take offense.

Welcome back and what a day to do it on...

Keith, THANK YOU for stepping in and taking control again.

I couldn't agree more with your assessment, and I'm glad to hear we can keep the focus on old trucks.

Actually, your rat rod thread is just fine as far as I'm concerned. It's automotive-related at least, and is by far a LOT more topical and relevant than many of the other nonsense threads that have been (will be) deleted. I wouldn't want these types of threads to have pictures attached, but as long as the pictures are being hosted by someone else (E-bay, etc.) then I'm fine with it.

The main thing I want everyone to think about BEFORE they post is this:

Will my post be contributing something positive/useful to the thread?

If so, than please post away. If not, and your reply is meant to just meant to be cute without having any actual usable content, than just don't do it! :nono:

I'm really glad you came back when you did. I had already stopped reading a lot of the threads because of the arguing and such. And was ready to even quit logging in because, as you said, a lot of it was going way off topic. It wasn't the forum I had joined anymore. So WELCOME BACK.

So if I'm reading this correctly, you don't want any more "non-auto" related threads?

Kieth  Ive been thinking about all youve had on your plate these past few months. Understand completely why you werent around. Losing a parent is a major thing to work through, and moving is second only to looking for a job as the least fun thing to do.
Funny thing is - now when I think of my 67 pickup, I automatically think of the price of gas. Grrr! :x
