This summer, I plan on doing some needed mechanical work and to get rid of the bits of surface rust around the truck, to prevent the spread of cancer. Uglify the truck for a bit, but in prep for paint next year.
I hope to accomplish:
* Front suspension rebuild
* Some electrical issues (fuel senders, no dash lights)
* Either reconnect the A/C components or remove them entirely. Someone did a half-ass job and got neither accomplished
* New cab mounts...mine aren't rusty but the rubber has perished
* Watch for some minor pieces and replacements that are better than what I have
* Do some tune up work on the motor
* Figure out why the auto box doesn't engage/disengages at low rpms in drive sometimes
I'll be satisfied with accomplishing ONE of those.

re: My list
If you're like me you are never really done with the truck. But its fun trying. One day at a time.
Good luck and keep us informed of progress.
