looking at this welder on craigslist. its a lincoln 3200hd. does anyone have one of these? i looked a little, but couldnt really find a lot. what i did find sounded like its a good machine. just hopin someone has experience with one. it doesnt come with a bottle. how much is that gonna cost? lincoln claims that its good up to 5/16. im hopin to acomplish a little suspension work with it, and lots of bodywork. im not great at welding (not bad either) but i understand how it works and know when something wont hold. and price, anyone know if 400 is too much? theyre on ebay for about 425 shipped. i plan to ask if they will take less but wanna know what to pay in my head. I think its will be a pretty good all around light duty wleder. with a little heavyish stuff carefully executed also. (brackets for 4-link) what do you think?

We have that same welder at home. Works great for body work, have not tried it on heavier stuff, but it's not a bad little machine.

You can pay more but you cant buy better.
Re: what do you think about this welder?
that was kinda my thought, I was thinking of offering 325-350 tops. if they needed money theyd take less. Ill pass on this one i think. they didnt sound like they needed to get rid of it bad enough. I hate to see people stuck with things they dont need, I try to bail them out of things that i can use, at the same time try to get a good deal for myself. maybe next time. thanks for the input guys
