Needed a window switch for a 2004 Expedition. Looked at fordparts.com found the part, selected a dealer and got a price. Did not want to pay online so I printed the shopping cart page with all the info and took it to the dealership to pick up the part and pay there. Online price was $57 but was told at the dealership that price was only good if I paid online. At the counter price would be $66. So I said "if I go back to my computer and pay then come back and stand in this same spot it will be $57???" Yes, but we can't give it to you at the counter for that price. "Thanks for wasting my time" was the quote I left them with as I walked out the door.......never to return!

I dont like ordering anything online myself. I try to do it the old fashond way, human to human. Id rather spend the extra money & have the part in my hand than have to wait on it to ship & hope to God its the right part when it gets to my house.

I do alot of buisness with Summit Racing, but I always call them & talk to someone to make sure we're on the same page.

its a internet special deal probably that is the way they have it setup. i dont shop online either. only ebay. but i do what i can if i can get a good deal.

i have noticed that online autozone and o'riely/Kragens give a tiy discount that of course gets ate alive by shipping. but then at the counter you pay the in store price.
