I wish I was in Dallas right now, I miss it. I did a run to Dallas (Arlington to be exact) from southern Ontario once a week for about 2 years. That was a pretty nice run.

Actually, this run was to the GM plant in Arlington, but picked up a couple local runs in Dallas from there. Kinda hard to get a load out of the area atm. Might have to dead head to Shreveport or somewhere today.

and LOL to the CL deal. I did and man at what I want but can not have. Will have to leave room on one of the next runs.

Frank,

Be careful out there man, I'm on the road locally here in Central Florida everyday.
Lots of crazy folks driving the roads these days.

I can tell you from experience that there are no crazy drivers in Dallas, or Texas as a whole for that matter. :P

lol, Dallas isn't exactly my favorite location as to hauling brokered loads with no scheduled load back out. Can take forever to find another.

Finally made it out though. Got a load late Fri and headed out.

I'm just outside of Seattle, Washington at the moment and will layover tonight to wait for shipping to open tomorrow. Then hopefully I'll get a load back out quickly.

Who all's in or near the Seattle area?

Take care all,

I could be wrong, (yeah been wrong once or twice before)

I think our own Kap'n Kaos was from the Seattle area?

I know there's quite a few members here in that area.

Home to Huntsville AL, to Chicago, to Belvidere, IL, to Dallas, TX, to Seattle, to Eugene OR, to El Dorado, AR, to......................

HOME!!!!!! lol

Gonna be home for a week to two weeks, trying to get a brokerage setup (bad brokers are why I got out of this, should have made my own back then), before I head back out for another 2 to 3 week trip.

Eventually I want to have some decent portions of the trip planned in advance (hence the brokerage) and will be building a site to show where I am and where I'm going. The idea is to haul some bump parts from member to member and some bike parts of the same from my favorite bike forum, and hopefully meet some folk along the way. Once I get it all set up, I'll start offering to pickup parts from one member to take to the next (along my route) for zero to nearly zero $ (gotta warm the partner up to zero first). Hopefully this will give us a way to move some of the awkward parts around that UPS and others turn down or charge way too much on.

Anyway, this is still in the future at this point. Now to go do some research into building a brokerage.
