Had storms last night and the lightning hit an ash tree 50 ft from the house. Also knocked out some appliances. The tree is ruined. Anyone in the market for a "natural" bat?

A lightning bolt hit a big tree at our cottage not too long ago. Hit the top, went down through it into the ground and pushed the dirt up. It killed a bird in the tree. Once it went into the ground it jumped over to the electric dog fence and traveled up hill to the house area. THEN, it jumped over to the copper propane line and burnt a hole through it and all the propane leaked out of the big tank. Dang! What a chain of events! And we were lucky it didn't blow up the tank, copper conducts electricity so we really got lucky there.
Oh, and it cracked the tree down through the center.
