Special Thanks to Fordification.com

Post by jp2005 »

I thought I would make a section where everyone can just say Thanks for the knowledge and help with there trucks. Alot people would probably be stuck if we didnt have Fordification.com where we all meet everyday to talk about are babies sitting in the driveway or yard. Send your special thanks! :fr:

Looks like you do a lot of texting.  My GRANDdaughter just started 6th grade and was just talking about how she tried spelling like she texts. Teacher failed to see the humor in it.

I think sites like Fordification allow us lay people with little to no automotive experience get the information we need to try our own repairs or restorations. I remember years ago on my first restoration (an Alfa Romeo) that there was no resource like this. In fairness, there was no internet. I had to shelf my project for a time because there was noone that knew about those cars in my area.
I'm sure I could find loads of people that know about Fords, but not all together in one place. It is very nice to have all of you guys at my disposal when I get stuck, or just to bounce ideas off of. Thanks Keith for giving us a clubhouse. :fr:

It's waaaay better than that other site! :fte:

My sincerest thanks to all of you guys! Your knowledge and advice have helped tremendously. If it hadn't been for Fordification, I'd have been stuck paying somebody else to work on my truck. Since I've been here I've learned more than I could have possibly learned in any book or classroom! A special thanks to the creators and moderators of this website whose dedication is unsurpassed! And without you guys sharing your own personal stock piles of miscellaneous (my wife would say junk!) classic truck parts, I'd have been forced to abandon the truck that serves me so well and that I love so dearly. Your willingness to help a complete stranger just shows how great the members here really are. All for the love of an old truck! :fr:

Man I gotta throw my thanks out there too. I have only been hanging around here for a short time but I have learned a lot. I have always been around these trucks, my Dad had one before I was born, and my first ride was a '67. I thought I knew something about these trucks till I came here. I still have a lot to learn but I know I can come here and ask questions without getting trashed. Thanks!!

:yt: I just have to echo whats been said. I have always loved these trucks, they are my favorite Ford body style trucks. After waiting years I stumbled across my bump and bought it fr a great price. Since then I have fallen heads over crank in love my these trucks. The is a very valuable resource that im VERY thankful to have in the repairs/restoration of my 1969 F-100. Since I purchased my bump this has become alost a daily hangout for me. Im new to FEs and this site helps me a lot.

I heard about this site from another forum.

I am definitely thankful for this site. I have gotten a lot of help from here and met a couple of the guys in my neck of the woods like Idaford and Thunderfoot. I have manuals for these trucks but sometimes someones hand on experience explains it easier to understand than the books. This site is very addicting. That is probably why I have 3 trucks now and my wife is a very understanding woman. Thank you to Keith and the moderators for an awesome site. All the people on here are a great group of people.

Why is it that the trucks are always the best running vehicles in the family?
