What is your truck, and what size wheels does it have?
I put 235 85 16s on my 68 Camper Special. Good size to go with, it would be good in in a 15" also. Mine are BF Goodrich.

I ran 235's on mine for years. It is a good size. I did some swapping and ended up with a nice set of 31-10.50-15's and it made the truck ride all that much better. Seemed to really smooth out the pot holes. I like the looks also

Check craigslist if you're looking at used tires, you can sometimes find good deals there

In all honesty pretty much all 15" tires are getting hard to find decent ones, it is not quite as bad as 13" and 14", but...

What wheels you have (as well as the model) come into play as well, it probably came with bias ply tires that were the equivalent or an 80 series so what you have to do if using stock wheels is find one close to the same rolling diameter without being too wide to fit the wheel.
