Cab Rotissirie
hello all, i plan to start the tear down/rebuild on my 67 Merc M-100. It needs a partial floor replacement and am just wondering if any of you guys have had been in this situation and what the easiest way to do it would be. i need to patch a few holes in the floor, cab mounts, cab supports and cab corners. i was thinking of rigging up a rotissirie but the issue there is i dont know how to mount it on it with having good accessibility at the floor any previous experiences you would like to share or maybe just an idea you have is much appreciated. Thanks guys.

i'm not sure a rotisserie would be good to use on a cab. i think most guys lay the cab on the back wall. and fix the floors that way. i cant think of any way to bolt the cab on both ends to use a rotisserie.

Re: Cab Rotissirie
leo,
I've seen several guys here use them through the years, (and thought that Keith had actually used one on his build)? I ran a search and did not find it. I do also remember a few guys using two engine stands as a rotisserie, maybe somebody else will pipe in soon with more info...

A futon mattress works much better than a rotisserie for me.

Lay futon on the floor, roll the cab back onto it.
