No. Not because of the $$$$, but because it is not what I would want. I would pay that for one that had my list of wants. Good looking truck.

No probably not because I was never a fan of the 6 and I dont like the wheels also. I really like the color its different! The price is a alittle much even if I was looking to buy. Well I guess you could do a engine swap with a v8!

For investing over 14K in it, he sure is skimpy on the details. If I spent that much money on my truck and then decided to sell it :loco: I'd have a 14K word essay describing it. LOL

for that price I would expect a hotrod 429 or 460. Its a nice truck and I don't doubt he has that much in it but these trucks don't hold their value

The truck looks good but the price is high. I personally like the I6 never let me down but for that price no.

I must agree, the price is to steep for a 6. Also the restore is now 12 years old. Our love of these trucks is the ability
to make them our own. Unless this is just what someone imagined making them selfs, It will probably become a daily
driver some where, or for the kid.

I would not buy at the asking price. IMO, the vehicle is worth $3 to$5k depending upon the options. Watch out for rust and body work on new paint. Take a magnet to see if bondo has been used. Check cab mounts and floor boards. Just because someone spends a lot of money on a project does not mean the project is worth a lot of money (even if it is very pretty.)

Check out this truck:

I watched another 1969 swb go from an asking price of $14k to $4.5k. Don't know if seller was every successful.

That post has been on CL for quite awhile now. It looks sharp but given that its been listed so long with no apparent offers at that price tells me its not a buyers market at that price at least in our neck of the woods.

If I were you Id drive up the road and rescue this from its demise instead. :D http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/cto/1921036075.html
