Big C is back.

Post by Mancar1 »

Hello everyone, wasn't going to post this, but hey here goes. 4 years back my better half kicked butt on her cancer. Well we just found out last week that the darn stuff is back. It is invasive. We are both in the mind set that we will beat the big C again. It sure can be tuff staying positive. Gotta keep Vicki around, she stuck by me all the way through a long career in the Navy. She raised the kids pretty much on her own since I was gone on ship a whole lot of the time. She loves Ford trucks. We have been married 35 years.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I am not all that religous, but been doing a lot of talking with the big guy.
Thanks, John

Out thoughts and prayers are with you and Vicki. I know it's hard to stay positive, but keep your mindset positive as much as possible, I know that a positive attitude is very important when going through cancer. Good friends to lean on helps too.

Can relate directly-my youngest brother, who is 41, is fighting Stage 4 melanoma cancer that spread to his organs. He's been going thru experimental treatments for the better part of a year, with some success, but not completely, as there is no cure for melanoma cancer once is spreads throughout your body. I will pray for you guys-keep up the fight!
