waiting

Post by Eric L »

:(

I started to post his earlier, but it was tough .. no my family is fine, but my '72 step got wrecked 9-22.. I'm waiting on the insurance Co. to get me an answer as to what is gonna happen to my favorite bump.

Was sitting at a light when a young man in a Nissan tried to avoid another and car hit me, the other car and any witnesses left without a statement. I dont know who ran the light, but I do know who hit me.

I just have liability and un-insured, so my ins. is not gonna help much unless his insurance denies coverage, and it seems they are covering it. should have had an answer yesterday, but still waiting.

truck could be fixed but they'll probly total it, I've been saving ads from craigslist of similar trucks to validated my feelings on the value of mine. but I'm still waiting.. did I mention that I'm still waiting. a nice (looking) young lady came by and took some pics, but had no clue about cars in general.

waiting...

:(

I'll probly part it out amongst my other trucks, so she'll live on.

I feel for you, hang in there, and I got my fingers crossed that it works out good for you.

So, I came out pretty good on this, took forever though (didn't get satifaction till Nov 5th). Made a bit of a profit and get to keep the truck.. makes up for all the times I've gotten shafted in similar situations.

I have plans for most all of the good parts. Took some of the $$ and ordered a set of custom double beadlock wheels for my '70 F-100 4x4.

I thought about buying another bump, but not finding what I want and I don't really "need" another right now.

I will definitely share pics of the wheels when I get them.. I wanna hit the snow this winter and the old combo was not letting me air down enough without losing the bead.
