Will someone explain to me what
Makes this truck rare? Seems to be many 7.3 Power Stroke Fords running around on the roads.

Any guesses what the switches are for to the left of the steering wheel?

I agree as to NOT being "Rare". Sounds to me like a come on to "Hurry Up And Buy This One Before It's Gone" ploy. A common tactic in the used car/truck business.
Switches to the left of steering wheel? Where? On The Dash? On The Steering Wheel Itself? On the Arm Rest? The switches on the armrest control windows, door locks and power exterior mirrors...if those are the switches you're referring to.

I think he was referring to the toggle switches left of the steering wheel:forrestbump wrote: Switches to the left of steering wheel? Where? On The Dash? On The Steering Wheel Itself? I'm guessing that he's referring to the fact that it's supposedly a 2003 with the 7.3 as I believe most of them came with the horrible 6.0.OldRedFord wrote:Makes this truck rare? Seems to be many 7.3 Power Stroke Fords running around on the roads.

Re: Will someone explain to me what
It looks like that second truck also had a brake controller at some point. The previous owner did some modifications.
The switches could be anything. Lights, performance parts (can you install a Jake on a Ford diesel?), etc.

I'll take the seats, someone else can have the truck.

Re: Will someone explain to me what
That is exactly it! The title is wrong and it is a 2003 model, but other than that it is not rare at all, espcially finding them with high milage. The good part about having a 03 with a 7.3 is you get the updated interior (seats) and fx4 graphics. Other then that I don't think there is much else different that the prior models.ScreaminZ wrote:I'm guessing that he's referring to the fact that it's supposedly a 2003 with the 7.3 as I believe most of them came with the horrible 6.0.OldRedFord wrote:Makes this truck rare? Re: Will someone explain to me what
Yep, it's semi-rare to get the '03 with a 7.3.
The switches on the second truck could be for anything, as they are not stock.
