Re: I'm gonna puke my guts out.
What's wrong with people? Why would any "Sane" person do that to a PERFECTLY GREAT Ford Pickup? Well the "Bright" side is that MAYBE someone will purchase that Pickup, sell the Chebby motor (or use it as an anchor) than put a proper Ford Engine in it. We can only hope....

The truck had a 6 to start. Not a great hod rod motor. I know where I can get a complete original 351w HO for like $225. Its just too bad. Its a nice looking rig.

People are insane... "I put a chebby motor in it, it has to be worth lots", and than it sounds like he is bragging about it having a chebby. He is probably one of those guys that are trying to fit in, and all his retarded friends drive chebbies, and this was the only way he could get attention from them. To bad there isn't some magic pill to fix stupid.

The Chevy thing doesn't bother me but the truck doesn't have anything that says look at me other than being all black.

I always wondered how the Granada dome lamp would look in our trucks...

It didn't turn out terrible, maybe $4k if the paint is decent. Sadly the pics do the truck justice.

Re: I'm gonna puke my guts out.
I think the guys who really like our trucks are usually Ford guys, so anyone who would do this just doesn't understand that they are hurting the resale on their truck, not helping it. Yesterday I saw a 91 Mustang GT on craigslist with a 350 in it and it made me equally as sick to my stomach. I just can't understand it...

One of those hicks airfield guys. they all live in airplane hangars and have more projects going on than they can handle. Probably sold his plane when the economy went south and used the hangar as a garage. One guy out there has some cool mini roadsters he builds out of kits.

Re: I'm gonna puke my guts out.
this could work except no money for it, buy the ford, swap back in a built 390/C6 combo with 3.33 and swampers just for fun. and then take the 350/350 combo and buy a shell of a '77 nova and build it up.
no to find a legal way to get the money.
