Can anyone help me out with how to remove this ignition? It's from a '65 Corvair Monza Spyder. I've tried inserting a rod in the hole but I'm not feeling any sort of release.
I used to have a 64 Turbo charged one back in the 60's. Ran away from a lot of V-8s on the open road.

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

I can't get the switch to the lock position (no key), I've tried the others but am having no luck with removing it. I guess I'll have to take it to a lock smith so I don't bung anything up.
