I hate to be posting this, but I am mulling around the idea of selling my F100. Im posting here because if I do decide to pass her on I want the truck to go to a member on here if possible.
Between trying to start a business and getting out on my own I cant really give the truck the attention it needs at this point in my life. An example would be the block squeezing out a freeze plug with this last cold spell.
The hard part is I know what I want for it, but I am not sure if anyone would pony up $700 to take over my project.

Re: Considering selling my bump
It sucks to have to sell it, I know that all the work I have put into mine over the last month or so, Id hate it. If I had the 700 I would gladly take it off your hands. I have a 67..

It may help you out if you list it in the Trucks for sale forum. Good luck.

Hopefully you will figure out a way to keep the truck. I know that at times we have to give up one thing to do another. I've parted with more than one Truck/Car over the years that I didn't want to. Always due to something more important. Good luck in your endeavor.

Re: Considering selling my bump
I'm with Mancar1 on this. I've regretted selling some vehicles in the past that I just thought I had to. Turns out if I REALLY thought about it, I could've kept them! Unless you just have to have the $$, DON'T DO IT!!! If you've got the room, store it, then it'll be there waiting for you when you can give it the attention it needs.

Re: Considering selling my bump
Please don't sell! I'm having trouble making any kind of schedule right now as I'm stuck with following the owner's last minute decisions. I can't yet say how long till things ease up, but they will. The parts are here and yours free. If it comes down to needing to put it up till spring, I'll loan ya storage here till then. Then come spring, I'll help ya knock it out. Whatever I can do.

Re: Considering selling my bump
I'm with them man I wouldn't sell it for NADDA. I've gotta 87 that I bought with money my Grandparents left for me when my GrandMother passed in 95 and it IS a basketcase and I've been badgered to sell it for quite some time it's been sitting since 01 more or less. nothing special aside from sentimental value a plain base interior model F150 long wheel base with a 300 straight 6,C6,and Towing package Can't imagine selling the old truck despite it being the quintessential basketcase it's still my truck and it'd break my heart to sell the old thing. it's part of the family!!! it's the one in my Avatar btw
